Gugliotta's hopes for staying in the championship are riding on this pass. It's all over right after 60 feet as the Cobalt drives hard towards the centerline and then goes silent. Say "Hello" to your 2007 Pro Stock Champion, Robert Patrick!! He makes a clean pass into the semis.

Spiess' car moves towards the center line too. He runs a little better than Cary Goforth, but is late off the line. Goforth gets the hole shot win and lane choice over Patrick.

The left lane is evil. Nobile pulls it back in the lane, but can't run enough better to prevent Smith's hole shot win. Rickie Smith's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.008), 330 ft(-0.008), 660ft(-0.005), 1,000ft(-0.001). MOV: 0.0021 seconds (approximately 8 inches).
