Smith didn't make the call after blowing it up in round one. Chesterman runs his quickest and fastest pass of the weekend on the single.

They leave almost at the same time and Ferro runs his quickest and fastest pass of the weekend to put the division Four champion on the trailer. Mickey Ferro's incremental margins: 60ft(0.017), 330 ft(0.037), 660ft(0.051), 1,000ft(0.065). MOV: 0.0744 seconds (approximately 28 feet).

Hough is out of the gate first and never looked back as Patton had a lot of tire shake right off the starting line and clicked it off. Hough will have lane choice by 0.001 of a second over Ferro.

Newberry was out of the gate first and the number one qualifier goes on to the semifinals. He will give up lane choice to Chesterman in the semifinal.
