Hight and Scelzi hook up here in the final. Scelzi used all the DSR resources to put the car back together and they are all now on the starting line. JFR racing matches them person for person. Hight gets the slight lead at the hit and maintains the lead until the 1000ft marker. That's when the Mustang took a sharp dive to the center and clipped the cone. That means his 4.726/276.35 run is DQd. That means no record and no win. Scelzi makes a banzai pass and runs another huge speed number. What a final!
