Cruz was out of the gate first but is up in smoke by 150 feet and pedals it. Bartone was blasting on down the quarter mile until just past half track when engine went silent. Bartone coasted through the quarter mile for the win.

Johnson Jr. is up in smoke early to end his weekend. Worsham was able to keep it hooked up all the way down the 1320 for the win.

Capps with slight starting line advantage and then straight down "Broadway" for the win light. Ashley was right there until his engine started eating itself up on the top end. Capps will have lane choice over Bartone in the semifinal.

Scelzi is out of the gate first and never looked back to take the win and the lead in the POWERade point chase. Medlen started to shake and then smoke the tires early in the run.
