Kenny Rucker's name does not appear on the qualifying sheets from Rockingham because his '41
Willys never got off the starting line in two attempts. During the afternoon qualifying
session, the car backfired through the hood scoop. During the "Night of Fire" he went the extra
step, sending the hood scoop flying in a huge fireball.
