This was Anderson's 34th #1 qualifier, putting him 3rd on the all-time list. This was
Smith's 19th Gatornationals, his first way back in 1982.Anderson beat the usually quick
"Tricky Rickie" Smith away from the starting line and steadily pulled away for the win. Greg
Anderson's incremental margins: 60ft(0.036), 330 ft(0.052), 660ft(0.069), 1,000ft(0.078). MOV:
0.0829 seconds (approximately 25 feet). He will have lane choice against his old boss, WJ, in
round two.
