What's That Wolverine Helmet Doing Here?

Just a few of the helmets up for bid at the Darrell Russell Memorial Auction Saturday night at
Pomona. Perhaps the most unusual was the Michigan Wolverines football helmet, autographed by
legendary Michigan coach Bo Schembechler, just one of several non-racing sports memorabilia items
at the auction. Jim Head, a big Ohio State Buckeyes fan, ended up with the helmet after some
spirited bidding.
