Michael Gunderson may show up for eliminations with a 5.30 dial-in on the rear tires after making
two qualifying runs at 5.30 seconds and over 270 mph. The better of the two was a 5.302 at
273.22, easily eclipsing the rest of a fairly strong field by almost two tenths of a second.
