Mattioli Gets in on Final Try

Tony Mattioli started the weekend on Jim McClure's unpainted Harley but switched to
his familiar red mount when he wounded McClure's engine. It took a 6.659 "Hail
Mary" run for Mattioli to get into the field, in the last pair of bikes down the
track in the final qualifying session.
