J.R. Todd runner-up from last week's rain delayed CARQUEST Nationals was not
qualified going into the 'Night of Fire'. But the eighteen year old rookie did
not let the pressure get to him as he blasted down the quarter-mile with a 4.876
seconds at 271.19 mph to qualify in the number five slot. He will face off
against Jim Bailey in round one.
