Last Ditch Qualifying Efforts

With neither car in the field, Al Hofmann in Jim Dunn's Mooneyes entry
squared off with Cristen Powell driving Helen Hofmann's Firebird in the
final qualifying session. Al ran a 5.055 to qualify 15th while Cristen
failed to make the cut for the 4th time in 7 races this season.
