Theoretically, on race day, any qualified car has a shot at winning, but in
reality it's usually one of the elite few at the top that takes home the
trophy. Sunday, Bob Gilbertson proved that dreams do come true as he
parlayed consistent performance and a little bit of luck to take his first
ever NHRA national event title.
