Steven Gasparrelli had surgery to repair his Achilles tendon just before the
Winternationals and had to relinquish his ride to his father Lou for Pomona
and Phoenix. He has finally progressed enough to allow him to drive and
made his Y2K debut at the Summitracing.com Nationals. He qualified 6th and
made it to the 2nd round where he crossed the center line, ending his
weekend.
