Super Comp Semis
Wed, Mar 3, 04:10 AM
David Leighton and his Desert Express dragster had a fine outing in Phoenix
making it to the semis before redlighting against eventual champ Mike
Ferderer. It was a bittersweet weekend for Leighton as his father, Bob,
suffered a mild heart attack in the pit area Friday afternoon. Angioplasty
was scheduled for Monday and the prognosis is good.
