Clay Millican Ties Garlits' Record

Clay Millican tied the record for the most consecutive wins in one season for the
IHRA Top Fuel division.
"Big Daddy" Don Garlits held the record, which stood for 26 years prior. Clay
Millican defeated Louie Allison 4.751 seconds, 314.75 mph to 4.971 seconds, 301.47
mph in the Top Fuel final.
