Dan Stevenson Fiery Incident Sun, 20 Mar 2016, 10:41 AM NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod Drag Racing Series racer Dan Stevenson, 59, from Bolingbrook, Ill., was
transported by ground to University of Florida Health Shands Hospital for further evaluation.
Stevenson's car caught fire during the first qualifying session of the NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod
Drag Racing Series portion of the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals. Stevenson exited his
vehicle on his own power and was checked by NHRA emergency services officials before being
transported to UF Shands Hospital.
He has been released from the hospital after being checked out.
