Cesar Febus qualified number one in his 1986 Nissan 300ZX with a 8.009 E.T. at 172.24 mph. He
went on to take home the Wally in Modified defeating Jimmy O'Connor in the final. He also set
both ends of the national record this weekend at 8.009 seconds and 173.67 mph.
