Sun, 1 Jun 2003, 03:03 PM
Brian Gahm briefly held the IHRA Pro Stock record with a 6.517 second run in the final
round of qualifying, only to see Doug Kirk take it away with a 6.506 on a rerun. Gahm
came back strong in the first two rounds of eliminations to retake the record, becoming
the first driver in the 6.40s in the first round of eliminations with a 6.485, then upping
the ante by lowering the record once again with a 6.476 in the second round.
