Chuck Cheeseman qualified third with a 5.858 second, 245.29 mph run. He was the only driver in
the 5.80s all day Sunday, running 5.806 in the first round and 5.872 in the second, to get to
the finals. Steve Addleman, his final round opponent, broke on the burnout, giving Cheeseman
the title.
