Angelo Alesci was back on the track at Edmonton in the '01 Mustang Brian Gahm drove to the
championship last year. He qualified 10th, but lost the engine on his third qualifying
pass. Jason Collins borrowed the carburetors from Alesci's car and went on to win the
event.
