Notes from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. testing in Pro Stock at Woodburn Dragstrip's 14th annual Pro Stock Invitational listing

Right Lane: Kurt Johnson Runs 6.992/198.98, Now #12; Best prior run: 10.190/89.59, Was #14
2:13 p.m. 1.047 at 60 feet.
Right Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 6.992/200.22, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.937/200.35, Was #7
Nice recovery from a 1.976 short time.
Left Lane: Warren Johnson Runs 6.982/200.31, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.891/201.83, Was #2
WJ will be the first to test the left lane. He launches and rattles the tires, stops about 100 feet out,
backs up and tries again. The second time worked a lot better, and he goes 1.051 at 60 feet and makes a nice
pass.
Right Lane: Taylor Lastor Runs 10.705/84.56, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.922/200.08, Was #6
Lastor shuts it off before 330.
Left Lane: Gene Wilson Runs 11.903/81.26, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.958/200.49, Was #10
Left Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 7.054/196.42, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.915/200.22, Was #5
1.075 at 60 feet.
Right Lane: Ron Krisher Runs 13.929/55.87, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.909/200.62, Was #3
Right Lane: Mark Pawuk No Time, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.937/200.31, Was #8
After a 1.045 60 foot time, something goes away in Pawuk's Grand Am, and he comes to a stop 700 feet down
track.
Right Lane: Darrell Alderman Runs 9.359/102.19, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.938/201.16, Was #9

Right Lane: Mark Whisnant Runs 6.998/198.93, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.959/200.13, Was #11
Not a bad run for Whisnant considering the heat. 1.052 60' time.
