Pro Stock Motorcycle Round 1 Eliminations

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 36th annual MAC Tools NHRA Gatornationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 71 degrees, relative humidity 58 percent, barometer 29.94 inches, adjusted altitude 998 feet, track temperature 106 degrees.

Johnson had a career best pass in qualifying. Ellis was a little too early on the tree and Johnson will get the freebie.

Both of these guys had career best E.T.s in qualifying.

Treble was out of the gate first, but then Smith grabbed the lead until just before half track.

Schnitz had a career E.T. and mph pass in qualifying.

Stoffer with a great light and the win with a great looking pass.

Tonglet ran his career best E.T. and mph pass in qualifying while Harris had his career best E.T. pass.

Harris with the starting line advantage, but Tonglet had the difference made up right off the starting line and runs the quickest pass of the session.

Tonglet will have lane choice over Treble in the next round.

Hines with his historic pass in qualifying also set the National E.T. and mph records. Hines with a great light and great pass to take the win. Hines will have lane choice over Johnson in the next round.

Scali ran his career best E.T. in qualifying. Scali with a great light and the win. Geno Scali's incremental margins: 60ft(0.023), 330 ft(0.015), 660ft(0.016), 1,000ft(0.017). MOV: 0.0281 seconds (approximately 8 feet).

Scali will give up lane choice to Stoffer in the next round.

Bostick set his career best in mph and E.T. in qualifying.

Bostick with a big starting line advantage, but Sampey had the difference made up right off the starting line and then ran the quickest pass of the session. She will have lane choice over her teammate in the next round.
