"God is good, that's for sure. Man, we really wanted to finish today with this JEGS machine in the winners circle, just came up a little short in the final. I kind of missed it on the starting line and then grabbed the chip on the 1-2 gear change, which slowed us down. I'm not so sure that we could have got there as good as Dallas ran, but would have been a heck of a lot tighter. We'll just have to keep getting better, keep putting the work in. I'm really proud of Kyle Bates, Kelly Murphy, Alex Laine, and Steven Hurley. I can't say enough about them. They have this JEGS car ready to go for every round and that's a feat in itself. It's a lot of work, and every bit of credit is due to them."
