Severance with the starting line advantage, but Januik chased him down by 200 feet and never trailed from there on for the win.

This is the first time Kalitta and Fricke have faced each other in eliminations.

Kalitta with the starting line advantage and does a quick pedal job as the car was starting to lose traction. Fricke has the lead by the time they go by the Christmas tree and never trails from there on for the win.
