MARTIN, Mich. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, Inaugural Dodge NHRA Great Lakes Nationals presented by MOPAR:

13 of the 14 Funny Car wins this year have come from the top half of the field. Austin Prock's win in Budds Creek (#11) is the only Funny Car win this year from the bottom half of the field.

Daniel Wilkerson is 6-8 in Round 1 this year. Spencer Hyde has lost in Round 1 at the last three races. His average E.T. in those three losses is 5.456. This is the only Funny Car Round 1 matchup in which neither driver has won a race.

They leave together and Wilkerson get the win in a close race. Daniel Wilkerson's MOV: 0.0110 seconds (approximately 5 feet).

Green with the starting line advantage, but is up in smoke right at the hit and clicked it off.

Capps launched hard and kept it hooked up and makes his career fastest pass for the win.

Green with a the starting line advantage and good pass early, then around the half tack the engine let go with a huge fireball. the car made a quick move across the track and hit the left wall. the car bounced off the wall and then back into it before comming to a stop. Green is out of the car.

DeJoria is straight down the groove with her quickest pass of the weekend for the win.

Haddock with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. He runs his season quickest and fastest pass for the win. He gets real loose on the top end and crosses the centerline in the shut down area.

Pedregon lost traction early and clicked it off.

Haas with the starting line advantage, but started to drop cylinders, he pedaled and pulled the front end. He pedaled it one more time, but Hagan had the difference made up and took the win.

Hagan with tire shake and pedaled it and got it to hook up enough for the win. He will give up lane choice to DeJoria in the next round.
