Beckman is 6 - 1 against Lee in prior events.

Beckman is the only driver standing between Prock and the national championship. He would need to win this race and hope Prock didn't show up for the finals to take it away.

Lee gets out of the gate first but Beckman goes around him before they reach the sixty foot mark. Lee starts gaining ground after that, then goes down the groove with a career best run to take the stripe for the holeshot win.
