ENNIS, Texas - Results of round 1 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 35th annual AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals:

This is the 32nd start for Jack Wyatt and his first race since St. Louis last year.

Wilkerson is 3 - 1 against Wyatt in prior events.

Wyatt with starting line advantage, but Wilkerson has the lead by half track and never trails from there on for the win.

Wyatt starts to drift out of the groove over by the wall, after the finish line he tags the wall.

Gary Densham's first race was in 1974. Alexis DeJoria was born in 1977. This is the 498th race for Gary and that's the 11th most among all professional drivers.

DeJoria was drifting out of the groove and over by the wall before she lifted. After the finish line the engine let go with a huge fireball. She does a great job getting the car to stop and is out of the car. There is oil...Alexis DeJoria was charged with an oildown, #3 for the season. That will cost 15 points.

Haddock was dropping cylinders right at the hit, but stayed with it.
