LAS VEGAS - Results of round 3 eliminations in Pro Modified at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 19th annual Dodge NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

Tutterow and Matusek have each won 1 times against the other in prior events.

Tutterow with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. He is advancing to his fifth career final round, third this season and second at this event.

Matusek starts drifting out of the groove and over by the centerline, the engine lets go on the top end. In the shut down area the engine was on fire, the Safety Safari was right there to get the fire put out. Matusek is out of the car and is okay, can't say so much for the car.

Jackson is 2 - 1 against Castellana in prior events.

Jackson with the starting line advantage, he started to drift out of the groove toward the wall. He reeled it in for the win. Steve Jackson's MOV: 0.0408 seconds (approximately 15 feet). Jackson is going to his 14th career final round, seventh this season and second at this event. He will have lane choice over Tutterow in the final.
