KENT, Wash. -- John Force powered to his 150th Funny Car win on Sunday, rolling to the milestone victory at the 32nd annual Magic Dry Absorbent NHRA Northwest Nationals. While Force earned his 150th career win, John Force Racing teammate and Top Fuel rookie Austin Prock picked up his first career win as part of a historic day for JFR. Matt Hartford also won in Pro Stock at the 16th of 24 races during the 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season. It was the final of three races on the famed NHRA Western Swing.
John Force, Chevy Camaro, 3.971 seconds, 320.58 mph defeated Ron Capps, Dodge Charger, 4.018 seconds, 309.91 mph. Funny Car legend John Force picked up his 150th career win on Sunday in Seattle. Force is a 16-time world champion and the winningest driver in NHRA history.
Austin Prock, 3.875 seconds, 307.86 mph defeated Steve Torrence, 4.984 seconds, 162.24 mph. Rookie Austin Prock wins his first career NHRA event at the 2019 NHRA Northwest Nationals.
Matt Hartford, Chevy Camaro, 6.606 seconds, 209.33 mph defeated Greg Anderson, Camaro, 6.596 seconds, 210.31 mph. Pro Stock driver Matt Hartford raced his way to his second career victory when he took down Greg Anderson in the final round at Pacific Raceways.
