Left Lane: Cruz Pedregon Runs 4.210/243.41, Now #11; Best prior run: 4.054/310.70, Was #11
6:12 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 82 degrees, relative humidity 44 percent, barometer 28.45 inches, adjusted altitude 3,972 feet, track temperature 122 degrees.
Pedregon has made a couple of decent passes, then had traction problems in the last round earlier today.
Pedregon gets about 400 feet out and puts out a cylinder on the left side. He starts moving toward the wall and has to back off the throttle early.
Left Lane: Blake Alexander Runs 9.173/69.91, Now #10; Best prior run: 4.053/298.07, Was #10
Right Lane: Tim Wilkerson Runs 5.051/152.78, Now #13; Best prior run: 4.468/195.03, Was #13
Wilkerson has had problems keeping the slicks stuck this weekend, losing traction on his last two passes. Alexander made his best run of the weekend earlier today.
Problems again for Wilkerson, getting about 30 feet out, making a move to the right, then the engine falling silent as he gives up on the run. Alexander had traction problems early and gave up on the run before he reached the 200 foot mark.
Left Lane: Matt Hagan Runs 5.910/117.54, Now #8; Best prior run: 4.012/317.27, Was #8
Hagan had a couple of decent passes yesterday but had traction problems earlier today.
Traction problems again, he gets about 300 feet out, hazes the tires and gives up on the run.
Left Lane: Robert Hight Runs 5.657/124.45, Now #6; Best prior run: 3.998/318.99, Was #6
Right Lane: Tommy Johnson Jr. Runs 4.003/318.24, Now #8; Best prior run: 4.025/313.51, Was #9
Hight has only made one full pass this weekend...and that doesn't change here. he gets about 300 feet out, strikes the tires and has to give up on the run.
Johnson goes down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend to move up a spot in the order. He will still be racing Hagan but will have lane choice.

Right Lane: Ron Capps Runs 4.029/316.67, Now #7; Best prior run: 4.002/317.79, Was #7
Todd gets out of the groove and starts moving toward the wall. He gets about 600 feet out and backs off the throttle.
Capps goes right down the groove with a good pass for the conditions but doesn't improve.
Left Lane: Shawn Langdon Runs 4.440/199.91, Now #2; Best prior run: 3.944/324.51, Was #2
Right Lane: Jack Beckman Runs 4.205/233.88, Now #4; Best prior run: 3.976/319.90, Was #4
Langdon gets out of the groove, drifts a little to the left, then backs off the throttle about 600 feet out.
Beckman drifted a little to the left, gets about 600 feet out and he clicks it off.
Left Lane: John Force Runs 4.026/319.14, Now #1; Best prior run: 3.911/326.95, Was #1
Right Lane: Bob Tasca III Runs 4.003/315.86, Now #3; Best prior run: 3.959/318.54, Was #3
Force goes down the groove with another clean, straight pass and makes a good run for the conditions.
Tasca ties Johnson for the quickest pass of the round with a good pass. Johnson will get the three bonus points by way of his faster MPH while tasca will receive two.
John Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.891 sec., 330ft-2.310, 660ft-3.266/274.66 mph.
Bob Tasca III's incremental times: 60ft-0.884 sec., 330ft-2.276, 660ft-3.234/270.70 mph.
This is the 158th time in Force's career he has been the number one qualifier and the third time this season.
