Vancil gets a head start and then a strong Malloy swaps the lead with him going down the track.

At half track, Malloy was out in front, but Vancil rides on by for win, as Malloy's engine gives up.

Vancil will have lane choice over Layne in the final round. He won at Pomona earlier this year and has a career four wins and two runner-ups.
