Right Lane: Bret Williamson Runs 6.254/243.37, Now #12; Best prior run: 11.055/84.86, Was #13

Williamson rattles the tires, pedals, then goes on through the run and improves but not enough to get in the show. Turner was on a decent pass but the car nosed over near the end of the run.

Bellemeur has already clinched the national championship and is still in the running for the regional championship.
Payne rattles the tires early, gets about 200 feet out and clicks it off. Bellemeur has traction problems and is off the throttle early. He is still not in the show and has one more shot this afternoon.

Gordon still has a slim chance to win the West Region but he will need a lot of help to get there.
Gasparrelli makes a clean pass but doesn't improve and stays in the ninth spot. Gordon was on a decent pass but was out of power early.
Left Lane: Ray Martin Runs 5.592/259.06, Now #8; Best prior run: 5.590/258.47, Was #8
Right Lane: Ulf Leanders Runs 11.132/95.94, Now #6; Best prior run: 5.531/265.59, Was #6
Martin goes down the groove with a good pass but he doesn't improve. Leanders bangs the blower and the car noses over about 200 feet out.
Left Lane: Shane Westerfield Runs 5.512/267.48, Now #2; Best prior run: 5.543/267.11, Was #7
Right Lane: Jirka Kaplan Runs 10.248/95.51, Now #6; Best prior run: 5.530/263.77, Was #5
Westerfield is still in the West Region points battle and will need to go a couple of rounds further than Marshall to take the lead.
Westerfield goes right down the groove with a clean, straight pass and he moves all the way to the second spot. Kaplan loses traction early and clicks it off.

Right Lane: Annie Whiteley Runs 8.777/122.50, Now #5; Best prior run: 5.524/267.37, Was #5
Burck was on a decent pass but had problems around half track. Whiteley has traction problems early and clicks it off.

Marshall is the leader in the West Region and needs to make a good showing to take the championship. He can start earning points if he makes it to the second round.
