WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The International Hot Association (IHRA) Summit SuperSeries program crowns a true Top (Box), Mod (No Box) and Junior Dragster World Champion each year.

The two ways to qualify for the annual IHRA Summit World Finals held in October at Memphis International Raceway are to win the Summit SuperSeries track championship at one of the participating member tracks or by winning the IHRA Summit Team Finals in your division.

Tracks across North America held banquets to recognize 2017 IHRA Summit SuperSeries track champions including those featured here from Cordova International Raceway in Cordova, Ill.

Ed Bousman
Top (Box)
Ed Bousman, a 68-year-old from Camanche, Iowa, earned the championship in the Kamper Korner Box class over runner-up Anthony Layne

Bousman's wife Sandy and son Jeremy serve as his crew members. For Bousman, getting the opportunity to win one more time before he retires down the road was his most memorable part of the season.

Bousman, has immensely enjoyed the Summit SuperSeries. He has been racing since the late 60's and loves getting to every race he can.
