BAYTOWN, Texas - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 31st annual NHRA SpringNationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Alan Prusiensky Runs 13.595/62.95, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.621/208.65, Was #15

Weather conditions: air temperature 76 degrees, relative humidity 72 percent, barometer 29.90 inches, adjusted altitude 2,013 feet, track temperature 90 degrees.

Prusiensky with tire shake and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.569/209.72, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.548/210.67, Was #13
Right Lane: John Gaydosh Jr Runs 6.662/208.33, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.592/210.93, Was #14

Enders with a good clean pass, but will not improve. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.979 sec., 330ft-2.741, 660ft-4.215/166.66 mph, 1,000ft-5.492.

Gaydosh with a clean pass.

Left Lane: Rodger Brogdon Runs 6.571/210.50, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.545/206.29, Was #12
Right Lane: Bo Butner Runs 34.604/128.36, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.532/211.79, Was #10

Brogdon was straight down the groove...

Butner with sever tire shake right at the hit. He will start Sunday from the bottom half of the ladder for the first time since Denver last year and he went to the final at that race.

Left Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.576/209.79, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.532/211.46, Was #11
Right Lane: Alex Laughlin Runs 6.605/208.30, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.530/211.33, Was #9

Hartford with another good pass, third quick of the session.

Laughlin with a good pass.

Right Lane: Deric Kramer Runs 6.557/209.49, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.528/211.93, Was #8

McGaha was straight down the groove with the quickest pass of the round. Chris McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.977 sec., 330ft-2.744, 660ft-4.217/166.99 mph, 1,000ft-5.485.

Kramer was right there with him running an identical E.T., but slower speed. Deric Kramer's incremental times: 60ft-0.969 sec., 330ft-2.731, 660ft-4.206/166.83 mph, 1,000ft-5.482.

Left Lane: Vincent Nobile Runs 6.559/210.34, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.513/210.67, Was #4
Right Lane: Drew Skillman Runs 6.555/210.14, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.527/212.29, Was #7

nobile with a good pass, the fourth quickest of the session. Vincent Nobile's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.745, 660ft-4.216/167.09 mph, 1,000ft-5.487.

Skillman was straight down the groove with the quickest pass of the round. Drew Skillman's incremental times: 60ft-0.977 sec., 330ft-2.739, 660ft-4.211/167.32 mph, 1,000ft-5.483.

A couple clean passes...

Tanner Gray's incremental times: 60ft-0.981 sec., 330ft-2.744, 660ft-4.222/166.50 mph, 1,000ft-5.502.

Jason Line's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.749, 660ft-4.230/166.17 mph, 1,000ft-5.512.

Left Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.561/209.17, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.492/213.00, Was #1
Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.539/210.24, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.504/212.36, Was #2

Anderson with a good pass, the sixth quickest of the session. He holds on to the number one qualifying spot for the third time this season, 96th time in his career and third time at this event. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.977 sec., 330ft-2.735, 660ft-4.210/166.25 mph, 1,000ft-5.486.

Coughlin launched hard and kept it hooked up to make the quickest pass of the round. He will start second and that is his highest qualifying spot since qualifying number one last year at Bristol.
