Fredrich gets a perfect light and starts to pull away. Turner made a move to the right, back to the left, then back to the right. Fredrich hangs on and holds off Turner for the win.

Brown gets the advantage off the line but he can't reel in Proctor.

Ellison's engine was popping as he went into the water box. he does a weak burnout and has to be pushed back to the line. The tree comes down and Ellison's car barely moves. Pittman goes on through for the win.

Pittman will take on Proctor in the next round.
