GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 49th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Val Smeland Runs 24.431/30.37, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.664/209.36, Was #14
Right Lane: Drew Skillman Runs 6.545/212.09, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.544/212.83, Was #7

Weather conditions: air temperature 76 degrees, relative humidity 37 percent, barometer 29.85 inches, adjusted altitude 1,706 feet, track temperature 106 degrees.

Smeland with severe tire shake and pushed in the clutch.

Skillman is just a tick off his qualifying time from yesterday. Drew Skillman's incremental times: 60ft-0.991 sec., 330ft-2.753, 660ft-4.220/168.18 mph, 1,000ft-5.482.

Left Lane: John Gaydosh Jr Runs 6.612/210.37, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.645/211.03, Was #13
Right Lane: Wally Stroupe Runs 7.042/196.73, Now #16; Best prior run: 7.102/196.22, Was #16

Gaydosh is straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend and moves up the ladder three spots. John Gaydosh Jr's incremental times: 60ft-1.013 sec., 330ft-2.782, 660ft-4.263/166.66 mph, 1,000ft-5.537.

Stroupe drove through tire chatter right at the hit and he will not improve.

Gray is straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend, but will not improve. Tanner Gray's incremental times: 60ft-1.003 sec., 330ft-2.769, 660ft-4.236/167.84 mph, 1,000ft-5.502.

Coughlin with severe tire shake and pushed the clutch back in.

Nobile gets it to hook up and makes his quickest pass of the weekend to move up the ladder one spot. Vincent Nobile's incremental times: 60ft-0.993 sec., 330ft-2.746, 660ft-4.211/167.84 mph, 1,000ft-5.476.

Delco with another good pass, but will not improve. Kenny Delco's incremental times: 60ft-1.000 sec., 330ft-2.767, 660ft-4.241/167.05 mph, 1,000ft-5.513.

McGaha with another good pass, but will not improve, but has the second quickest pass of the session. Chris McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.747, 660ft-4.214/167.91 mph, 1,000ft-5.477.

Enders with a clean pass, but will not improve. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.999 sec., 330ft-2.768, 660ft-4.243/167.05 mph, 1,000ft-5.515.

Line is straight down the groove, but will not improve, he has the fourth quickest pass of the session. Jason Line's incremental times: 60ft-0.998 sec., 330ft-2.757, 660ft-4.223/167.74 mph, 1,000ft-5.488.

Kramer with severe tire shake right at the hit and clicked it off.

Right Lane: Bo Butner Runs 6.559/211.79, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.534/212.53, Was #5

Anderson launched hard and kept it hooked up, he doesn't improve. He holds on to the number one spot and makes the quickest pass of the session. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.993 sec., 330ft-2.748, 660ft-4.214/168.41 mph, 1,000ft-5.477.

Butner with a clean pass, the sixth quickest of the session. Bo Butner's incremental times: 60ft-0.996 sec., 330ft-2.760, 660ft-4.228/167.43 mph, 1,000ft-5.494.
