Left Lane: Greg Carrillo Runs 4.553/176.49, Now #2
Right Lane: Blake Alexander Runs 3.705/329.58, Now #1
Weather conditions: air temperature 69 degrees, relative humidity 25 percent, barometer 28.79 inches, adjusted altitude 23,338 feet, track temperature 103 degrees.
Carrillo started to shake the tires early and clicked it off.
Alexander launched hard and kept it hooked up with his first pass this season. This is his career quickest and fastest pass. Blake Alexander's incremental times: 60ft-0.832 sec., 330ft-2.116, 660ft-2.980/294.88 mph.
Left Lane: Billy Torrence Runs 8.662/74.11, Now #3
Right Lane: Kebin Kinsley Runs 9.454/64.69, Now #4
Both of these guys are making their season debuts.
Torrence with severe tire shake right at the hit and clicked it off.
Kinsley shook and shut it off.
Left Lane: Troy Buff Runs 4.560/164.53, Now #3
Buff is making his first pass this season in the bill Miller Top Fueler. Buff launched hard and then the engine went silent around the 330-foot mark.
Left Lane: Richie Crampton Runs 3.755/325.30, Now #3
Right Lane: Terry McMillen Runs 3.740/316.45, Now #2
This was a good looking side-by-side drag race.
Crampton had the candles lit all the way down the track to go to the number three spot. Richie Crampton's incremental times: 60ft-0.837 sec., 330ft-2.146, 660ft-3.020/289.45 mph.
McMillen is straight down the groove to go to the number two spot. Terry McMillen's incremental times: 60ft-0.843 sec., 330ft-2.125, 660ft-2.994/289.69 mph.
Right Lane: Mike Salinas Runs 3.764/321.04, Now #4
Salinas was on a good looking pass until he crossed the finish line and that is when the chutes didn't deploy. He was hard on the brakes and the car was sideways before he got it safely stopped.
Left Lane: Leah Pritchett Runs 3.755/291.07, Now #4
Right Lane: Brittany Force Runs 4.454/172.72, Now #6
Pritchett was on a good pass until it dropped a cylinder, the engine went silent right before the finish line. She she still goes to the the number four spot. Leah Pritchett's incremental times: 60ft-0.831 sec., 330ft-2.102, 660ft-2.984/286.07 mph.
Force is back after that bad crash in Pomona two weeks ago, she is in her car from last year. She starts to haze the tires around 300 feet and clicked it off.

Palmer with a real nice pass, his quickest and fastest this season to go to the number seven spot. Scott Palmer's incremental times: 60ft-0.849 sec., 330ft-2.162, 660ft-3.050/287.17 mph.

Right Lane: Clay Millican Runs 10.483/73.49, Now #14
Brown was straight down the groove with a great pass and big top end speed to set the track speed record. Antron Brown's incremental times: 60ft-0.843 sec., 330ft-2.133, 660ft-2.996/294.63 mph.
Millican was up in smoke as soon as he hit the throttle.

Schumacher launched hard and kept it hitting on all eight all the way down the track with a great pass to go to the number one spot. Schumacher runs his career quickest and fastest pass. This is fifth quickest in history and sets the track E.T. record. His speed is the fastest in the 1000' foot era for the National record.
