POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 3 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 56th annual Circle K NHRA Winternationals:

Force is 50 - 26 against Worsham in prior events, 11 - 8 in the semifinals. Force had better numbers in round one, Worsham in round 2.
Force had three hundredths in the bank at the green, but the two matched their round 2 numbers and that got Force to the stripe about a car length behind.

Del Worsham's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.013), 330 ft(0.004), 660ft(0.013). MOV: 0.0254 seconds (approximately 12 feet).

Hight is 28 - 20 against Capps in prior events, 11 - 7 in semifinals.Hight has been consistent and quicker than Capps so far today.
Capps had a small advantage at the green, but Capps led at 60 feet and held the lead to the stripe.
Ron Capps' incremental margins: 60ft(0.011), 330 ft(0.027), 660ft(0.017). MOV: 0.0175 seconds (approximately 8 feet).

Capps will have lane choice against Worsham in the final round.
