Jonathan Gray is the defending event champion. In the brief 7 year history of this event no Pro Stock driver has won it more than once. Chris McGaha starts the Countdown 3rd in points.

McGaha is 4 - 3 against Gray in prior events.

Gray gets a little advantage off the line but McGaha goes around and pulls away for the win.

This is the 3rd start for rookie Alex Laughlin this year. He will be the 95th different driver to race Larry Morgan. Larry won the 4-Wide race here this year.

This (#2) is by far the best starting spot of the year for Bo Butner. His previous best was 7th at Sonoma. This is the 17th start for John Gaydosh who is still looking for that first round win.

This is the first time Butner and Gaydosh Jr have faced each other in eliminations.

Gaydosh gets a big holeshot but can't hold off Butner.

This is the first time Anderson and Stroupe have faced each other in eliminations.

Stroupe gets the holeshot but doesn't have the horsepower to hold off Anderson.
