POMONA, Calif. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 50th annual Auto Club NHRA Finals:

Hagan gets away first and stays there until right at the 660 lights, where
Force's Mustang gets it's nose out in front by just -0.009. Hagan stays strong and Force's engine starts to falter after that. Hagan
drives right on back bye for the close win on top of his National Championship. There is over a thirty-four MPH difference in speed
at the 1000 foot.
