This is the 76th time these two have raced each other. Force holds a 48-27 record against Capps and a 21-5 record in semifinals. Capps has made two good runs today and had lane choice, taking the left lane.

Capps' rear tires disappeared in smoke about 300 feet out and Force went down the groove on rails for the easy win.

This is the eighth time these two have raced each other, Force holding a 5-2 edge overall and a 1-0 record in semifinals.

DeJoria had a hundredth in hand at the green, but they swapped the lead back and forth in the early going before DeJoria edged ahead to stay.

Alexis DeJoria's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(0.002), 330 ft(-0.002), 660ft(0.011). MOV: 0.0221 seconds (approximately 10 feet).

DeJoria will face John Force in the final round, Force has lane choice.
