Pedregon is 13 - 11 against Beckman in prior events, 5 - 2 in the second round.

)Pedregon was smoking and pedaling and fishtailin after 300 feet, while Beckman was going right down the groove for the win.

Capps is 12 - 5 against Johnson in prior events, but they are 1 - 1 in the second round.

TJ started pedaling before the 660-foot marker, then there was a flash of flame under Capps' car and it got very loose, near the wall. He saved it and got the win, but he lost lane choice to Beckman in the semifinals.

DeJoria is 4 - 0 against Hight in prior events, 2 - 0 in round two.

This time Hight got one back, almost duplicating his first-round and qualifying runs. He qualified with a 4.073 and has run 4.074 and 4.076 today. DeJoria was second off the starting line, then lost traction shortly afterward.

Worsham is 3 - 2 against Head in prior events and this is the first time they have met in round two.

Head was up in smoke after a couple hundred feet. Worsham also fought for traction, but he was well down the track before tire haze was visible.

Worsham will not have lane choice against Hight in the semifinals.
