LAS VEGAS - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 13th annual NHRA Toyota Nationals:

Torrence is 6 - 3 against Bernstein in prior events. Bernstein is out of the gate first and never trailed for the win. Torrence was up in smoke as soon as he hits the throttle and pedals it a couple time and finally gets it to hook up. Bernstein got out there and started to pop and bang, but he was far enough ahead to hold on for the win.

Millican is 4 - 3 against Lucas in prior events. Lucas is out of the gate first and then up in smoke as soon as he hits the throttle. Millican launched hard and was straight down the groove for the win.

Brown is 22 - 18 against Schumacher in prior events. Schumacher is out of the gate first and then starts to smoke the tires right off the starting line. Brown appeared to be troching a head gasket around 800 feet, but takes the win and keeps his title hopes alive. Brown will have lane choice over Bernstein in the semifinal.

Langdon is 1 - 0 against Force in prior events. Langdon with the starting line advantage and never trailed and then ran low E.T. of the round for the win. Force was up in smoke as soon as she hit the throttle. Langdon will have lane choice over Millican in the semifinal.
