Deflorian went red, Goforth was a few ticks slower and gets the win. Both made great runs (this counts toward qiualifying.

Gahm was "the people's choice" for this event, voted in by the fans.

Gahm left first, but it was not a perfect run, the car making a move toward the wall. He rode it out while Hintz was slowing.

Montecalvo left first, almost gave up the lead when he had to steer the car away from the centerline. John Montecalvo's MOV: 0.0543 seconds (approximately 14 feet).

He will not have lane choice against Goforth in the semifinals.
