Right Lane: Mantez Thompson Runs 4.160/167.93, Now #6; Best prior run: 4.176/167.93, Was #8

Collins' engine started sounding spour on the top end and he failed to improve. Thompson improved slightly, moved up a couple spots.

Left Lane: Terry Schweigert Runs 4.082/171.42, Now #2; Best prior run: 4.175/168.14, Was #8
Right Lane: Jeremy Teasley Runs 4.320/145.09, Now #15; Best prior run: 4.866/111.72, Was #19

Teasley is one of the three riders currently outside the field.

Nice run by Schweigert to move way up the ladder. Teasley improved, despite some popping and cracklng from his exhautst on the top end, bumping Schnitz.

Now T.T. Jones is on the bump spot at 4.323.

Left Lane: Monte Campbell Runs 5.707/83.67, Now #20; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Jack Young Runs 5.102/96.13, Now #13; Best prior run: 4.310/166.25, Was #13

Campbell broke on his first try today and both riders wwere without power on this try before reaching half track. That leaves Young inside the field and Campbell on the outside.

Left Lane: Ashley Owens Runs 4.053/173.99, Now #2; Best prior run: 4.090/174.17, Was #3
Right Lane: Eran Pielert Runs 6.840/65.50, Now #18; Best prior run: 4.422/156.12, Was #18

Pielert and Matt Smith are the last two in the lanes OIwens made a great run to retake the #2 spot. Pielert was out of power before the halfway mark and he will not be on the ladder for eliminations.with chances to bump back into the field.

Left Lane: Charlie Prophit Runs 4.366/132.10, Now #14; Best prior run: 4.313/156.64, Was #14
Right Lane: Dave Vantine Runs 4.121/169.70, Now #4; Best prior run: 4.175/169.78, Was #8

Right Lane: Travis Davis Runs 4.115/172.72, Now #4; Best prior run: 4.142/171.82, Was #6

Grothus' engine went bad by the halfway mark, sputtering. Davis didn't appear to have any problems, improving enough to move up a couple spots.

Left Lane: Casey Stemper Runs 4.667/111.28, Now #12; Best prior run: 4.299/158.45, Was #12
Right Lane: Paul Gast Runs 4.251/165.90, Now #10; Best prior run: 4.225/169.51, Was #10

It sounded like Stemper had shifter problems. Gast ran a little slower than his earlier run today.

Right Lane: Matt Smith Runs 4.429/158.04, Now #19; Best prior run: 4.450/156.21, Was #19

Smith needed to run quicker than Jones' 4.323 to get back into the field. Since he is here primarily to test for next-weekend's NHRA event at Bristol and that time is not likely in Pro Stock Motorcycle trim, the result was not surprising - but it was his best run of the day.
