ROCKINGHAM, N.C. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Aeromotive Fuel Systems Pro Mod at the 2013 ADRL Tour presented by Speedtech, Dragpalooza IX listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Larry Higginbottham Runs 4.158/177.51, Now #7; Best prior run: 4.204/165.31, Was #7
Right Lane: Clint Satterfield Runs 5.257/99.45, Now #13; Best prior run: 5.257/99.45, Was #13

1:02 p.m. Good run by Higginbottham to move one rung up the ladder. Satterfield shook and slowed.

Left Lane: T.J. Tindle Runs 3.950/190.32, Now #2; Best prior run: 4.016/184.93, Was #3
Right Lane: Adam Flamholc Runs 3.864/193.46, Now #1; Best prior run: 4.037/188.94, Was #5

Nice run by Tindle, great run by Flamholc, a career-best ET to go to #1.

Adam Flamholc's incremental times: 60ft-0.960 sec., 330ft-2.576.

Left Lane: James W. Linton Jr. Runs 4.128/185.23, Now #7; Best prior run: 4.245/160.12, Was #8
Right Lane: Todd Howard Runs 3.960/190.24, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.369/73.13, Was #13

Good run for Howard and Lintoin improved by over a tenth from his first run.

Left Lane: Kenny Lang Runs 4.760/115.35, Now #9; Best prior run: 4.236/197.08, Was #9
Right Lane: Pete Farber Runs 4.560/122.87, Now #12; Best prior run: 8.028/76.70, Was #15

Nice launch, then shake in both lanes.

Left Lane: Rod Houck No Time, Now #11; Best prior run: 4.380/184.47, Was #11
Right Lane: Shannon Jenkins Runs 4.061/187.96, Now #7; Best prior run: 4.287/157.98, Was #10

Houck left before the tree came down. Jrnkins had some tire spin and shake on the launch.

Left Lane: Raymond Matos Runs 4.049/185.31, Now #6; Best prior run: 4.036/186.30, Was #6
Right Lane: David Hance Runs 5.062/137.79, Now #13; Best prior run: 4.596/133.45, Was #13

Another good-looking run by Matos. Hance shook and never did get up to speed.

Left Lane: Rickie Smith Runs 3.956/193.74, Now #3; Best prior run: 3.972/192.71, Was #5
Right Lane: Doug Winters Runs 4.192/146.75, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.906/117.87, Was #15

Winters got most of his problems figured out and Smith made his second good run of the day, improving enough to move iup a couple spots.

Left Lane: Kevin Rivenbark No Time, Now #5; Best prior run: 3.964/176.01, Was #5

Rivenbark was the quickest car in the first session, but something let go in the driveline when he tried to launch and he rolled a few feet and stopped.
