Wild race! They leave just 0.004 different in RT and Gordon pulls away, as Payne's tires are shaking and spinning.

Gordon looks to be on his way to the final round, when the engine goes BANG and the chutes deploy right before the 660 lights.

Payne has gathered it back up and goes charging on by for the now easy win. He'll give up lane choice to Hough later.
