5:14 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 78 degrees, relative humidity 21 percent, barometer 27.92 inches, adjusted altitude 3,909 feet, track temperature 103 degrees.
The sun is starting to get low in the west, but the air and track temperatures are still up there.

Goff is way too late to have a chance and Hogan just nibbles at the CIC in getting the easy win.

Greg Anderson used to drive the car in the left lane and Darryl alterman used to drive the car in the right lane. It's a heads up race, but Smiley nails the tree with a great 0.009 RT and Edwards misses with a 0.134 RT.
