LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 12th annual Big O Tires NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:
Left Lane: Deric Kramer Runs 6.690/206.67, Now #1
Right Lane: Steve Kalkowski Runs 6.774/203.12, Now #2

Weather conditions: air temperature 73 degrees, relative humidity 18 percent, barometer 28.09 inches, adjusted altitude 3,329 feet, track temperature 93 degrees.

Kramer with a nice move right at the hit and runs his career quickest and fastest pass. Deric Kramer's incremental times: 60ft-1.007 sec., 330ft-2.807, 660ft-4.307/164.03 mph, 1,000ft-5.600. Kalkowski with his career quickest and fastest pass. Steve Kalkowski's incremental times: 60ft-1.010 sec., 330ft-2.837, 660ft-4.358/161.94 mph, 1,000ft-5.668.

Left Lane: Mark Wolfe No Time, Now #4
Right Lane: JR Carr Runs 6.718/197.33, Now #2

Wolfe left before the tree was activated and will not get a time. Carr with a clean pass to start the weekend. JR Carr's incremental times: 60ft-1.002 sec., 330ft-2.801, 660ft-4.309/163.16 mph, 1,000ft-5.609.

Right Lane: Kurt Johnson Runs 6.674/206.42, Now #2

Kurt with a good looking pass, straight down the groove...Kurt Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.993 sec., 330ft-2.789, 660ft-4.290/164.09 mph, 1,000ft-5.583. WJ with a good pass. Warren Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-1.008 sec., 330ft-2.815, 660ft-4.320/163.45 mph, 1,000ft-5.615.

Left Lane: Rodger Brogdon Runs 6.650/206.45, Now #1
Right Lane: Shane Gray Runs 6.708/204.35, Now #6

Brogdon launched hard and keep it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Rodger Brogdon's incremental times: 60ft-0.983 sec., 330ft-2.773, 660ft-4.268/164.25 mph, 1,000ft-5.559. Gray with a good pass to get into the top half of the show. Shane Gray's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.792, 660ft-4.306/162.61 mph, 1,000ft-5.608.

Right Lane: Ron Krisher Runs 6.636/208.04, Now #1

Krisher with a little wiggle early, but he reeled it in and goes to the top of the list. Ron Krisher's incremental times: 60ft-0.994 sec., 330ft-2.779, 660ft-4.270/165.17 mph, 1,000ft-5.553. Morgan with a real nice pass to get into the top half of the show. Larry Morgan's incremental times: 60ft-0.991 sec., 330ft-2.789, 660ft-4.292/163.61 mph, 1,000ft-5.590.

Left Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.647/207.02, Now #3
Right Lane: Mike Edwards Runs 6.615/208.42, Now #1

This was a great side-by-side drag race as Edwards goes to the number one spot and Coughlin to the number three spot. Jeg Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.775, 660ft-4.270/164.65 mph, 1,000ft-5.559.
Mike Edwards' incremental times: 60ft-0.988 sec., 330ft-2.770, 660ft-4.256/165.66 mph, 1,000ft-5.536.

Left Lane: V. Gaines Runs 6.639/208.30, Now #4
Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.636/197.39, Now #3

These two were side-by-side all the way down the 1320...Anderson goes to the number three spot and Gaines was right there with him. V. Gaines' incremental times: 60ft-0.997 sec., 330ft-2.785, 660ft-4.274/165.21 mph, 1,000ft-5.557.
Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.984 sec., 330ft-2.764, 660ft-4.251/165.54 mph, 1,000ft-5.534.

Right Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.661/207.37, Now #8

Nobile with a great pass to go to the number two spot. Vincent Nobile's incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.769, 660ft-4.256/165.56 mph, 1,000ft-5.537. Enders with a good pass to get in the show. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.999 sec., 330ft-2.794, 660ft-4.287/164.87 mph, 1,000ft-5.575.

Right Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 6.600/208.68, Now #1
