Right Lane: Daryl Meadows Runs 7.651/163.45, Now #1
1:01 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 73 degrees, relative humidity 18 percent, barometer 28.09 inches, adjusted altitude 3,329 feet, track temperature 93 degrees.
Meadows makes a clean pass but will probably be a
little off the pace.
Left Lane: GT Tonglet Runs 7.138/186.92, Now #1
Right Lane: Freddie Camarena Runs 7.188/186.28, Now #2
Tonglet makes a clean, straight pass to get in the top spot for now. Camarena goes right down the groove and gets in the second spot for now.
Left Lane: Kieth Burley Runs 7.313/183.84, Now #3
Right Lane: Charles Sullivan Runs 7.573/170.95, Now #4
Sullivan was fighting to keep the bike in the groove all the way through the run then backs off the throttle early. Burley made a clean run but is a little off the pace.
Left Lane: James Surber Runs 7.257/181.57, Now #3
Right Lane: Katie Sullivan Runs 16.734/27.44, Now #7
Sullivan gets about 100 feet out and the bike is out power, not sure why.
Left Lane: Redell Harris Runs 7.259/183.84, Now #4
Right Lane: Wesley Wells Runs 7.490/178.12, Now #6
Left Lane: Matt Guidera Runs 7.127/182.13, Now #2
Right Lane: Jim Underdahl Runs 7.059/188.15, Now #1
Underdahl goes right down the groove and moves into the top spot for now. Guidera makes a clean pass and gets in the second spot for now.
Left Lane: Jerry Savoie Runs 11.856/63.44, Now #12
Right Lane: Mike Berry Runs 7.248/177.81, Now #5
Savoie has problems and is sitting up on the bike about 300 feet out. Berry makes a clean pass and gets in the fifth spot for now.
Left Lane: Michael Phillips Runs 8.050/117.66, Now #13
Right Lane: Chip Ellis Runs 7.078/187.18, Now #2
Phillips gets about 600 feet out and the bike starts smoking. He backs off the throttle, coasts to a stop, trailing oil all the way. Ellis makes a good run and gets in the second spot for now.
Left Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 7.042/188.04, Now #2
Right Lane: John Hall Runs 7.038/189.28, Now #1
Hall and Johnson both right down the groove with decent passes to take the top two spots for now.
Left Lane: Shawn Gann Runs 7.122/189.92, Now #6
Right Lane: LE Tonglet Runs 6.998/190.30, Now #1
Tonglet goes right down the groove with the first six second pass of the weekend to take the top spot for now. Gann makes a decent pass and gets in the sixth spot.
Left Lane: Matt Smith Runs 7.019/189.55, Now #3
Right Lane: Scotty Pollacheck Runs 7.015/186.87, Now #2
Smith and Pollacheck were glued together all the way through the run and they get in the second and third spots for now.
Left Lane: Michael Ray Runs 7.041/186.92, Now #5
Right Lane: Karen Stoffer No Time, Now #23
Stoffer had problems and was not able to make a pass. Ray makes a clean run and gets in the fifth spot for now.
Left Lane: Hector Arana Runs 7.146/189.15, Now #13
Right Lane: Hector Arana Jr Runs 6.995/189.60, Now #1
Arana Jr. makes an impressive pass and gets in the top spot for now. Arana Sr. had a slow sixty foot time, 1.167, but came on strong at the end of the run.
Left Lane: Andrew Hines No Time, Now #26
Right Lane: Eddie Krawiec Runs 6.938/193.88, Now #1
Hines hits the throttle, moves about ten feet and the bike goes silent, not sure why. Krawiec makes a very impressive run and easily takes the pole to end this session.
